Thin Clients

For the last week I have been doing a majority of my work on a Wyse thin client laptop. I created an Windows XP VM on our ESXi cluster. I have used a combination of WiFi and my LTE MiFi on Verizon for connectivity. I'm currently just using RDP to connected

Performance

So far performance has been acceptable in every situation. The only hiccups I have found in performance come with PDF files or graphic intensive web pages. Keep in mind the performance in all instances has been very usable. I mainly notice visible delays of a second or two.

Experience

For the most part I forget I'm using a RDP session. I would like to see what some protocols with better graphics compression / performance like PCoIP etc.
