As you decide on what and who to spend your money on this Black Friday take a second to spend a few dollars on helping children with Cancer. You can knock out two goals at once, get some Holiday items and help some kids who's Christmas won't be as carefree as ours. Doing so will feel 10x better than just buying some plastic stuff from a regular retail store. http://www.childrensartproject.org/

Million Dollar Product Idea
Most lint brushes are that post it note type roller paper. These are moderately effective but to me seem very wasteful and time consuming. My thought is, why don't they make lint rollers made out of black t-shirts / black pants? From my experience that seems to be the most effective way to collect lint / animal hair etc.

Tech support life
Getting phone calls at 8:30 am on a Saturday from a user asking where a program is located is soul crushing. Seriously, if you can't find the shortcut look in the program menu. It's 2010 you should know how to do that without hand holding.

Pro Tip for extended hospital care
Some of the things you learn while @ MD Anderson are ways to try and be more comfortable. It is usually small things as you deal with long waits, unpleasant tests etc. One of mine is, if you are asked if you want a warmed blanket (literally warmed up in a toaster oven type device) you say yes. The only exception is if the day is going unusually bad, you ask for two. It's my way of finding some peace in the chaos.

Fostering children
Taking classes so we can be licensed to foster children. I'm left thinking, if we required this training / testing to actually have children, fostering would be largely unneeded.
