Homecoming

I am glad to inform you that John has been released from the hospital and is now back home. He continues to make strides each day. He remains in high spirits as he works his way through this event.

Speech

John's speech is such that we can now carry on short conversations. This is an amazing change from mid week last week where most of our communication was either written or inference from other means. He still has a long way to go but seems very determined to continue to improve.


Mobility

John's mobility has greatly improved. He uses a combination of the wheelchair and a cane. He can walk short distances by himself. The only assistance needed is someone ready to stabilize him if he looses footing.


Thearpy

John will continue physical, speech, and occupational therapy in the coming weeks. We are waiting on an evaluation at TIRR here in town. More on this as we know more.
